Valeriya Beseda
"I have a pretty interesting story. I'm almost self-taught.
I started as an entrepreneur. Starting in 2016, I was working in a tattoo parlor, supervising permanent makeup artists and tattoo artists. Then there was a scandal with management involving harassment, so I quit...
In 2019, I opened my own studio and hired all the staff. Half of the staff abandoned me right before the opening :), so I had to extricate myself and learn microblading in order to pay loans and rent.
Two months of microblading work and I realized that it is not for me! I do not like healed work. I picked up the permanent makeup device and worked for days on latex, on pigskin, on bananas. I created shading on paper with a pencil and pen.
I hired models and worked for two months without days off. I studied chemistry again, like in high school, because I didn't like the healed work. I studied color, mastered hair-stroke method, and after two years on my journey, I'm a teacher."
